At Ydmyk bakeri you get handmade pastries, baked fresh for every order . I only use ingredients I can stand by – like Norwegian, organic stone-ground flour for better taste and nutritional value. Everything is made in my small bakery in Mesnali, without shortcuts.

Since its inception in the fall of 2024 , over 600 customers have ordered more than 1,000 times – and the feedback makes me both humble and grateful.

How to order

  1. Choose products from our menu at www.ydmykbakeri.no.
  2. Go to checkout and choose between delivery or in-store pickup.
  3. Choose a date for delivery or pickup. (We have baking days: Thursday - Sunday)
  4. Fill in the information and complete the order.

I am grateful.

Sometimes it feels like I've lived a whole life since I started Ydmyk bakeri. I've learned more than I could have ever imagined – not just about dough, temperature and rising times, but also about patience, chaos and standing firm when things get a little stormy.

There have been mornings with over-risen dough and ovens I forgot to turn on. Evenings with zero kroner in my account, a body tired from firefighter drills and two small children who (fortunately) don't care about logistics and finances, only that dad is there. There are many hours alone, and sometimes I feel the loneliness. But in the midst of all this, something beautiful is growing.

I'm starting to find the rhythm – little touches here and there that make everyday life more liveable. I'm learning what actually matters, and I feel a deep sense of gratitude. For the support, for the customers, for being allowed to do this. For every day I get to shape something with my hands and see it become something others appreciate.

It's not easy – but it's real. And it's mine.

Hi! My name is Adrian, and at Ydmyk bakeri in Mesnali I bake with a passion for sourdough. Here I make small-scale bread and pastries with natural ingredients, where each loaf is given time to develop its unique flavor through a long rising time. The result is handmade sourdough bread and pastries baked with care from start to finish. You can choose to have the products delivered fresh or pick them up at our pickup locations, either at the bakery in Mesnali or in Sjusjøen.

At Ydmyk bakeri, the goal is simple: to create authentic artisanal baked goods that both taste good and bring joy. For me, baking is about more than just recipes – it’s time, patience and love that make each loaf unique. From sourdough bread to sweet temptations, I use pure ingredients and a slow process that highlights natural flavours.
